A literal reference to the protagonist from the classic American novel, Catcher in the Rye, by JD Salinger, it can be used at parties and social gatherings to inconspicuously ask if anyone has marijuana to sell or share.

Dude 1: "Hey man, did you invite Holden Caufield to the party?"

A fluffy-headed furball person who is consuming with their quiet confidence and composure. Well-centered member of society other than the fact that he/she is a stoner, alcoholic, a drug abuser, and well known by the police. Passive-aggressiveness is their weakness. They allow emotions to build up until something terrible happens and they may strike an object harder than their hand. Their smooth-talking and well mannered behavior can score them with the ladies/men and get them out of rough situations.
