A relationship where one of them is in love, but the partner is commited to the relationship only to give therapy. Platonic love from one side, not so platonic love from the other side.

It'll either end up ugly or they'll live happily ever after.

Usually, one of the partner is in denial.

Jane doe is in therapyship with Joel, But Joel is gonna get his heart broken.

Therapeutic Delay

When a person in an ER waiting room has to wait long enough to be seen, they get frustrated, and realize just how 'not sick' they are and storm out of there, only to call their doctor to get in to be seen, like they should have done in the first place.

The patient with cold symptoms had to wait 2 hours to be seen in the ER, and left after the therapeutic delay cured them.
