(n.) To duck out on plans last minute in order to stay home and get high. Can also be used to describe going somewhere else, if it's solely for the purpose of getting high.

soda bake

Usage common in parts of Northern Ireland, particularly Derry city. Refers to a rounded, weather-beaten visage that can be likened to a risen dough pulled fresh from the oven. Soda bake is a derogatory and highly insulting term denoting not only the woeful physical features of the insultee but also carries deeply negative connotations with regard to the IQ of the given 'soda bake'.
