A person dwelling the suburbs that behaves like a redneck bringing the rest of the neighborhood down. These people can be found all over America and are not limited to the southern USA. They can typically be found in too tight sweatpants (with camel toe), flannels, & sneakers. Haircuts may include the mullet and/or teased bangs.

Our neighbors are such suburban rednecks! They have shit all over the lawn and a bunch of broken down cars.

The term redneck came from The West Virginia Coal Miners in March (1921) when the coal miners wore red bandannas around their necks to identify themselves as seeking the opportunity to unionize and when they fought at the Battle of Blair Mountain.
