A horrible, nonsensical, confusing gimmick written into an already overblown and terribly long film.

After two and a half hours of explosions with absolutely no plot or character development, Michael Bay has Sam briefly and for no apparent reason go to robot heaven in Transformers 2.

A form of cluetrain-ignorant marketing in which an organization, often a political campaign, uses a machine to dial your phone number and leave a pre-recorded message, deliberately wasting your time and subjecting you to a dehumanizing experience in order to save the organization time and money.

"My representative doesn't let people send her personal emails without going through her website, but she loves to bombard the district with robocalls."

Robocop

A girlfriend who is very controlling, calls you on the phone all the time just to see if you are doing something she doesn't like, and wants to go through all your belongings to look for trace elements of other females.

EXAMPLE 1:
Person A: dog, is that your girlfriend calling you again?
Person B: *sigh* yeah, she's been bitching at me for the past week!
Person A: man, you don't need that robocop!

EXAMPLE 2:
*ring ring*
Guy: Hello?
Girl: Hey, where the HELL have you been? You were supposed to be home an HOUR ago!!! If I smell any alcohol on you, it's over!!
Guy: Damn, I ain't need a Robocop anyways!
Girl: WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY??

robot

A person who has the ability to do anything and everything without a problem. This person does not show any emotion when he/she is congradulated for doing everything perfectly, because he/she has become desensitized to the praise.

Student 1: Wow, that girl Ellen was able to get straight A+'s all year, while taking AP classes, doing 150+ hours of community service, playing fockey, being in every single school committee, being on the debate and math team, and finding the cures for cancer, AIDS, and obesity!
Student 2: Wow, she must be a robot. I do not have enough energy or determination to do even half of those things, never mind all of them, all at once!

robot chicken

One of the few shows that actually make me laugh out loud. Most funny shows (South Park, Beavis and Butthead, stand-up comics like Dennis Leary but not racist twatsuckers like Chris Rock) usually draw a grin from me. YET another Adultswim comedy goldmine (other fine examples are Futurama, Family Guy, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force).!

A man who frequently appears in YTPs and sports multiple record deals amongst the youtube community. His genre varies from techno, rap, thrash metal, to disco, folklore, and everything in between.

He is well-loved by his numerous fans and followers. Robotnik's celebrity status has earned him trillions, and to this day he resides in a comfortable mansion atop a hill, where he may use his wealth to fund the detriment of human rights and the eco-system.

"Hey, have you seen Robotnik's latest video?"
"Oh yea totally! Damn, I can't get that tune outta my head!"
