When you're tired enough to take a good 1-3 hour nap, but not tired enough for your sleep to be considered a night's worth.

"Why are you up at 3 AM?"

freelancer's nap

freelancers people with lots of time on their hand - and in charge of their own time management have a tendency to slip to a dark chamber and come back all flushed. They probably were not having a siesta/nap.

What happens when you have been working at your computer for too long, nod off and wake to find yourself nose down on the keyboard.

Was hitting the keys so hard last night to finish my paper that I had mega I-nap and woke up drooling on the keyboard at 4am.
