He or she is appointed by the current President of the United States to serve at the cabinet level for as long as the appointing President is in power. He or she must be confirmed by the United States Congress before he or she can take the oath of office.

Janet Reno was the Attorney General under President Clinton.

The generation of children who lack a parent who is always there for them and is far more concerned with their own life. The term 'easybake generation' comes from the idea that these children are 'self raised,' in the same sense as 'self raising flower': an ingredient that is common in easy to bake recipes.
