A drinking game in which the participants watch an episode of Dynasty and they have to down a shot of liquor each time a character gets slapped in the face. This is not an easy game to win considering that each Dynasty episode was an hour long and the show was known for catfights, therefore the participant who is still coherent and able to stand up when the episode is over is the winner. The term came from a game some of the characters on the short-lived That 80's Show were playing.
John must have been doing dynasty shots last night because when he came into work this morning, he looked like he was nursing a hangover.

Get the box shotmug. A Gerbil Shot is when one bends the shaft of a 1.75 of vodka (plastic bottle only) to a 90 degree angle. Once this has been completed the person who bent the bottle flips the bottle upside down into another persons mouth (The Gerbil) while the person receiving the vodka holds their hand up with their wrists bent as if they were a gerbil. The one receiving the Gerbil Shot guzzles as much vodka (Karkov) out as possible. This is commonly confused with a mild case of cerebral palsy but is generally known as a Gerbil Shot.
