griff rule

The Griff Rule is not an actual user. griffrule was a user on the platform TikTok, and would frequently use “#griffrule”. But there are 2 definitions:

1. The “griff rule” is a social experiment proven that people will only come to another person / help them when the situation is beneficial.
2. A rule a person sets for themself to only express their feelings which aren’t positive on social media.

1. “I saw a homeless person ask for money, no one gave him any. But there was a Dunkin’ giving away the extra donuts since they were closing.”
“It’s the griff rule, man.”

2. “You never really told me you’re upset in real life, yet you vent a lot on TikTok. Is everything OK?”
“No. I just follow the griff rule, can’t tell anyone I’m too close with personally, you know.”

21 Point Rule

This is a mercy rule used in Madden, NCAA football and basketball games. If either player gains a lead of 21 or more points the game is ended with the player leading declared the winner. The rule was created to allow people with downs the chance to get on the sticks faster. It also prevents embarrassing blow outs.

Ja Ruled

To be exposed as a complete fraud and have your career ended by this, or at least lose the majority of your fanbase.

Rick Ross (the rapper) was Ja Ruled in 2008 mainly due to 50 Cent, it was found out that he was a CO in a prison and had little to no criminal record. Furthermore his "baby mama" exposed him even further. This almost completely ruined his career, thus he was "Ja Ruled".
