when a comedy act goes through a cycle of being: 3 - 5 "ok" comedians, 2 - 3 funny comedians, 1 - 2 Hilarious Comedians, Thus building what we might call a pyramid. It makes a pyramid to the funniest comedian at the show.

man, last nights show was an awsome comedy pyramid! it was kinda good at first and kept getting better and better till the end!
