JPEG fallacy

A logical fallacy where one reductively presents an idea or object in terms of it's basic fundamental parts, missing the point of it, often to make an argument seem more simple or valid than it would be with the added context, similarly to how detail is lost with the compression of a JPEG.
Person A: (raging at a game)
Person B: "Why're you getting so mad? It's just pixels on a screen, bro." (An example of the JPEG fallacy, because sure, it is "pixels on a screen", in the most basic sense, but it's grossly reduced.)

Koopa Fallacy

The Koopa Fallacy refers to a theoretical phenomenon when one group that contradicts itself is percieved as two groups with contradictory views.

This happens in internet fandoms where many users interact anonymously, and one finds it reasonable to assume that any contradictions are the result of disagreements between smallar groups when in fact it is one group being unreasonable and contradictory.

The name stems from the Goomba Fallacy, explaining the opposite phenomenon of two groups with contradictory view being mistaken as one.
"This fandom is demanding realism and wacky mechanics at once! Surely it's simply a disagreement within the fandom."

"No, the same accounts asking for realism are also asking for a cartoony style as well. It's Koopa Fallacy."

the Jack Fallacy

Where you think you're more awesome than everyone else, and that your opinions are so right, they don't require justification and everyone else is stupid for thinking differently.

Jack: "That's wrong, obviously the Beatles isn't a boy band."
Person 1: "That's actually the Jack Fallacy, not a real argument."

Jack: "Anyone who doesn't believe in God is an idiot, there's obviously a God."

The Dingus Fallacy

Making an assumption that, since there are REASONS WHY some thing exists, therefore that thing does NOT exist.
Rashaan: The "gender gap in pay" is a myth! The fact is that women CHOOSE lower paying jobs so they can spend more time with their family.

Han: So, the fact that women make less money than men is false, because there is a reason women make less money than men? Look out, big brain time! Sounds like you've committed the Dingus Fallacy.
