Bluf

A short term used by wearers of Breeches, Leather and Uniform clothing. Stemmed from the 1970s pop group Village People and adopted by a sub group of gay men who are normally rather effeminate but feel the need to wear a facade in order ot make them appear more masculine. Normally day wear would be classed as Buff Wannabe. Often seen by day in Gay cafe society.
