the amount of information needed about a topic in order to be able to bullshit a conversation or answer a question about it about it and have everyone think you actually know what you're talking about

Guy A: How did you talk to Alexandra last night about Harry Potter? I didn't think you read those books?
Guy B: I didn't, but I saw some of the movies and remember hearing my friends talking about the series that I had enough info to get past the bullshit threshold and make some jokes about the series to her.

Student A: You don't own the book for the class, how did you know about Edmund Randolph?
Students B: Guess I read enough of the Constututional Convention wikipedia article that I reached the bullshit threshold about it.

Bullshine

a gloss of appetizing bullshit to cover up some seriously sickening other shit, i.e. euphemistic spin of something that the bullshiner (one who applys bullshine to something) is trying to cover up

hospitals explaining the consolidation of care as coordinating care for better patient care (the bullshine), when really they are consolidating so as to gather bargaining power with insurance companies (the sickening other shit that needs to be covered up).

Dumb Bullshit Sauce

Refers to a moment within video games, where a player guides his/her avatar through a difficult section of the game, only to have the avatar FAIL during a cut scene. Said failure may include, but is not limited to being shot, falling into a trap, or trusting a character who is obviously your enemy pretending to be your friend.

So I fight my way through the covenant in the last scene of Halo: Reach, only to die in the cut scene. It was dumb bullshit sauce.
