eeyore syndrome

A person that is habitually or chronically depressed, sad, melancholy, gloomy etc., for more days than not. They are over concerned with their problems, no matter how small. They tend to have a round the clock "poor me" attitude. Being around these people has a tendency to "suck the life" out of others.

Man I can't stand to be around bill now days he is a downer! Yeah he really needs to snap out of the "eeyore syndrome" that runs his life.

A condition in which a son can do no wrong and is catered to unconditionally by parents and all siblings. Usually applies to the eldest son in a Latino family

A parent conference is not necessary because he is afflicted by the "Mijo Syndrome".

The acceptance of ones standards in women lowering due to the best of a scarce female population being less than what you would accept in another location.

This syndrome does accept however, that there may be the occasional girl who meets, or exceeds a personal standard, but is unavailable.

VIA syndrome

An acronym for Vocal iPod Amplification syndrome: A condition in which someone listening to an iPod or mp3 player tends to speak much louder than they would without earbuds on due to the fact that they believe the people they are talking to cannot hear them over "the music". Generally occurs on public transportation, as road noise contributes additional background noise.

Derek: Hey man, what are you listening to?

Jake: TAYLOR SWIFT!

Derek: ...

Jake: SORRY, I SAID I WAS LISTENING TO TAYLOR SWIFT. CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?

OCOD Syndrome

Obesseive call of duty syndrome to be so addicted to modern warfare 2 that all life processes are blocked and the laws in nature are blocked. People get all of their necessary nutrients from the game and do not actually need to physically eat food to survive. Try this experiment out on your child and you will see that they will either grow strong or have no social life ever.

Mom: Honey, come eat
Child: WTF MOM I'M PLAYING CALL OF DUTY LEAVE ME ALONE. I DON'T NEED TO EAT, COD IS TAKING CARE OF ME
Mom: Shit, he has OCOD Syndrome
