Lay Down Sally

The term 'Lay down Sally' was coined during the 2004 Olympics when olympic rower Sally Robbins dropped her oar, allowing it to drag in the water. She gave up and laid back on teammate Julia Wilson's lap. Australia consequently finished last.

Since this event a 'Lay down Sally' has been used to described someone who gives up on a job/task right in the middle of it because they can't be bothered finishing.

Dan: I'm tired of moving these bricks

John: Don't you pull a Lay down Sally on me

scallywag/carpet-bagger

During reconstruction after the civil war in the southern U.S. there were notherners who came down who were called scallywags and carpet baggers. The word scallywag meant troublemaker and carpet-bagger was an allusion to the bags carried by the norther buisness men who came just to profit. The use of both of these terms was in effect of any person seen as one of these type of people, regardless of race.

I learned about people who former confederate supporters reffered to as scallywags and carpet-baggers in My U.S. history class in 11th grade when the unit vocabulary was being discussed.

Stall Stalker

1) Defined as an asshole who thinks it would be funny to take a massive shit in a public stall and then not flush. The aforementioned "asshole" waits at the sink to see the reaction of the next person who walks into the stall.

"Hey Mick, do you see that dude at the sink?"

"Yeah, what about him?"

"He's a total stall stalker, look at him, he keeps looking to see who goes in next"

"Wow. What an asshole".

Stall blocked

When a co-worker hogs the shared restroom on a daily basis for inordinate chunks of time making other personnel physically uncomfortable and possibly resulting in wetting their pants or suffering from turtle head and other bodily function mishaps.

I was about to head to the can before a long meeting but got stall blocked.
