Politically woke

When an individual is fully aware of what is happening in the government and society, what various individuals, organizations, businesses, social movements, and political parties’ agendas, beliefs, and actions are on numerous policy issues, as well as understanding how these beliefs and activities can affect them, their family, community, and certain minority groups in society and mobilizing socially, financially, and politically when needed in effort correct actions that are unreasonably discriminatory towards certain groups in the name of social justice. These actions include doing things such as attending protests and marches, signing petitions, calling out people, organizations, and businesses for performing biased actions, etc. It is important to note that people who are politically woke tend to be liberals and generally speaking will only mobilize on issues that are considered to be part of the social justice.

Lexy is aware of what is happening in the government, including what certain political leaders are up to. She has mobilized on many occasions to try to correct social and political wrongs committed by the government, certain celebrities, and organizations. For the most part, she only mobilizes on issues related to gender equality, LGBTQ rights, and racial equality. She considers herself to be politically woke. Vaccination Is Political

When the rates of vaccination in the United States are lowest among Trumpublicans, religious folks, and conspiracists in red states, compared to higher inoculation rates among those who voted for Joe Biden nationwide.

That there is a positive correlation between vaccination and votes in the US is unmistakable, because vaccination is political there, which means that more infections and fatalities in the face of the deadlier delta and delta-plus variants are expected in states with high proportions of unvaccinated people.

When people realized that music can only be good if drugs are involved, and the government suppresses drug use, they rebelled against the goverment by creating the genre political punk. Sometimes overlaps with oi oi oi (Oi!). Usually British bands or American bands that wish they were British.

"oh crap." said Jimmy. "I only like music when I'm high but drugs are illegal. That's the goverment's fault. Damn American goverment. Hey, I know, I'll make a song about how much the goverment sucks and pretend like I'm British. I'll call it political punk."

Political Appearance

When your significant other has a party that will be attended by people that you either don't know, or don't care about. You don't want to go, but you go anyway to safe face and/or give the illusion that you don't hate them.

Wife: "You can't do that Saturday, we have that Scrubs-themed costume party at the Smiths' that evening."

You: "I'll go, but I'm only making a political appearance."

Coworker (sarcastically): "So, I'll see you at the holiday party, eh?"

You: "I dunno, I overheard my boss talking about possible promotions. I think it's worth at least making a political appearance."

The idea that an individual being a supporter of the Republicans or Democrats can give that individual more power and influence than an individual who is a supporter of a nonmainstream political party or an individual who practices political neutrality, because of the fact that most people will be more likely to respect, listen to, and value the opinion of an individual is a supporter of the Republicans or Democrats than an individual who is a supporter of a nonmainstream political party or an individual who practices political neutrality.

Kenny: I heard that Britany had a disagreement with Dylan because some views of his views about climate change didn’t entirely match the views held by her and certain Democratic leaders. They both believe that climate change is occurring, but, because his views didn’t match her views, she refused to even hear him out as to why he held those views and kept shooting down his ideas as to why climate change was occurring.
Isabell: I know that Britany is very strong supporter of the Democratic party and that Dylan is a supporter of the Green Rainbow Party. Britany doesn’t respect of people’s views on political issues unless the individual is a Democrat. A lot of people listen to what she has to say on various political issues, but they seldom listen to what Dylan has to say.
Kenny: Agreed. It sounds like Britany and some other people’s political identity privilege is showing.
