To be driving at an average rate of speed in an American muscle car that has a famous large engine like a Ford 302 or Chevy 350 and suddenly shift down into second gear, forcing the RPMs to jump. A thunderous noise from your exhaust results, leaving those around you in awe at the beauty of American engineering.
