Rhode Island Block

An advanced traffic maneuver in which one slowly inches out into oncoming traffic, until they are blocking the flow of cars (sometimes in both directions), thus ensuring they are able to pull out.

Necessary behavior in places like Rhode Island, famous for it's terrible drivers.

Jim: This traffic is so thick, we're never gonna get out of this intersection.

John: Don't worry, I'm going to employ a Rhode Island Block.

calgary road block

is a situation where you are Driving on the hwys around calgary and two mentally chalanged drivers are travelling side by side atleast 10km under the speed limit. Neather one is passin the other.

So I'm driving in my abulance down hwy#2 and these two pieces of pure panty waiste are creating a Calgary Road block. I have my lights flashing and my sirens blazing. Nothing, they just wont move. Outa nowhere a RCMP comes wheeling around me and smashes that Calgary Road block right off the Highway.Justice served

A bar in the early 1910's, which served "needled" or fortified beer. So called because you have a drink, walk a block and drop dead. Also called a "blind pig."

The proprietors of the block-and-drop joint had set up a practice of drugging their beer, then rolling the patrons that passed out.
