Coaster

A poser who rides his fixed gear on the freewheel and coasts rather than riding the fixed gear. Does it for the trendiness of the fixed gear rather than the function and purpose of the fixed gear.

East Coast

The smartest side of America, containing ALL of the Ivy league schools, home of the REAL gangstas, so west coasters back the fuck off. Also, we don't mind the occasional 'fuck you', because we aren't pussies and take it lightly. We don't GIVE A DAMN whether or not you're super tan or are an anorexic whore. East coasters are cold and unforgiving, but wait-aren't gangsters? East coasters often walk faster than west coasters. Try putting a WC in front of the EC, and they'll get their genitals torn out.

A West Coaster will stab you in the back.
An East Coaster will punch you in the face.

Friend 1: "For real?

Friend 2: "Yeah man... Last time I heard, there's only a few or possibly even one TRUE Cogswellian."

third coast

Apellation describing the state and cultural region centered on Houston, Texas including Central and East Texas and Southern Louisiana used in several different contexts (film, hip hop and other music, left activism, etc).

This term is claimed by several other regions as well (Chicago, Western Michigan, the Southeast), but it properly refers to Texas.

Richard Linklater and Wes Anderson put the third coast on the indy film map.
