Offering cut-rate prices for inferior dental care, these basement dentists attract patients who are vulnerable, desperate to save money or have low expectations for care.

noun. rediscovering previously owned possessions with joy that is typically reserved for retail shopping. Often used in the context of items that were in storage in your parent's (or a parental figure's) basement, but can refer to the basements of friends or relatives. Frequently used for items that were packed and stored for a move. May also include toiletries, paper goods, liquor, or other trivial items liberated from said basement.

After hearing how Jen convinced her father to let her liberate the beer from the basement refrigerator, Jen's friends were impressed by her skillful basement shopping.

Basement Smelt

A noun used to describe a person. It revolves around a person and/or thing being afraid to go inside the basement. Usually someone who has been in the location, however has not gone into the underground level. This is a negative sounding noun. This often occurs at parties, abandoned buildings, hospitals etc.

Basement Smelt

A noun that usually has a negative outcome. Someone who goes to a location and enters it, however doesn't go in the basement. To classify as a basement smelt the whole area of the location must be entered, except the basement or underground area. The reasoning to be a 'basement smelt' is because there is either a fear or phobia of something in beneath the middle floor. Examples are parties, abandoned buildings, hospitals etc.
