Nap date

This meeting between two parties typically follows any other date including the Zero date in order to determine compatibility with one another during a sleep related event.

During the Nap date, both parties agree to partake in a sleep act with one another for deciding if future dates should be planned.

The rules for a Nap date vary depending on the individuals involved however the function is meant to measure overall comfort, snoring, general touch, cuddle ability, blanket sharing, and proper hand placement.

"Hey. I haven't seen you with Joe lately. Aren't you two dating anymore?"

"No. We did the Nap date and I found out he snored and he had terrible blanket sharing capabilities."

"Oh I'm sorry you had to go through that. Good thing you caught it before the road trip date."

disco nap

a nap taken afternoon/evening when have either not had enough sleep the night before or expecting a v. late one...

been proven that 45mins to an hour is the optimal amount but as little as 20mins is still helpful if very tired.

more than 1hr 15 and you go into a deeper sleep and are likely to feel drowsy for a long time after you wake up.

tip: take a korean ginseng energy tablet right before your nap and it'll be kicking in as you wake up :)

"last night was heavy i only got 2 hours sleep"
"what so you not coming out tonight anymore?"
"yeh i'm fine all i need is a disco nap and i'll be back on form!"

Sketch nap

you have take some form of drugs and on the day after you're on a comedown - you're in public, you're paranoid, you're sleepy. your mates look out for you so you can have a sketchy (aka sketching out as an after effect of drugs) nap time - so to avoid eye contact and generally to catch up on sleep deprivation - you have a sketch nap.

In a cafe being very quiet and sketching out - feeling very tired. your mates suggest a public nap - because you're not comfortable enough to fully fall asleep but your body needs rest - "mate, have a sketch nap"

Epic Nap

An Epic Nap can be defined as a nap that satisfies the following three conditions upon the waking of the subject:

1. subject's pillow cannot be dry
2. subject must be in the same position as he/she/it was when he/she/it fell asleep
3. subject completely loses track of time and/or space, to the point of delusion.

I came home from school one day, walked into my bedroom, laid on my bed, and fell asleep. When I woke up, I hadn't moved, my pillow was soaked, and I was confused. The clock said 8:30, and I thought I was late for school, yet something wasn't right, because it was still dark outside. Then, I realized I had just taken an epic nap.
