Taking an entire day of rest, preferably in bed, with the only exceptions made for food and bodily functions.
After a long-ass week she took a full stop Friday to recuperate from the emotional exhaustion that risk-taking inevitably produces.

Stop The Violence is an long-running campaign of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, started by Sister Roma in 1989. It began in response to violence against LGBTQ people in San Francisco and elsewhere, with signs that were/are freely distributed to businesses and residences. When displayed, the signs alert people, at a glance, that that building is a safe space to come if ever needed. You can check out their FaceBook page for updates, information, and to find out how you can get involved. Go to FaceBook and Search: StopTheViolenceSF.
I noticed that Cliff's Hardware finally replaced their Stop The Violence window sign. It's about time! That other one was faded and barely visible. If you want one for your space check out The Sisters' FaceBook page.

When someone is using foul language, or tells a dirty joke at a dinner party, the host may politely yet firmly request he "stop that word". If that same someone continues with his rude antics, the host may stop the guest and remove him from his home.

The act of coming to a complete stop at a red light only for it to instantly turn green, making your stop unnecessary and subsequently annoying.
Man I can't believe I stopped at that red light, and it totally turned green right away. I hate when I make a false stop!
