You hear all the time about white guys who wear Fubu and act like they are from Compton. You never hear a song about a white guy who dresses like one of the tribe in Sierra Leobe and talks the way Leo DiCaprio talks at times in Blood Diamond.

Third white guy- I don't...
Poser- My name is dead body mon, don't call me poser mon.
Third white guy- At least he has more imagination than most posers, he's trying even harder than the guys that act like they're from Compton.

Someone who acts like they're from Baltimore even though they're from outside Harrisburg. Someone who has not only a thousand different screen names or online profiles, but also has fictional hometowns or current locations, fictional lives to go with them. A poser tries to outdo other people at silliness while trying to get taken more seriously than everyone else.

The poser was always this and that, always under somebody else's skin to make himself/herself look/feel more authentic. The poser wanted an authentic image.

Someone who tries to convince other people that they've worked harder than everyone else throughout their lives, at least when they want to get respected. A lot of the time, they think everybody else has spent their life joking around.

He/she was the worst kind of poser, the one that seemed authentic and wanted/expected to be taken seriously by other people.
