Sports betting

The reason there's an investigation into the Astros in the first place. If it weren't for bets made against the Astros or Red Sox, there would be no investigation. Two teams that were supposed to get beat didn't get beat, and people are making demands about it now.
Sports betting is the reason for the cheating investigations, if nobody lost any money, there wouldn't be stories about scandals. Somebody feels the Astros and Red Sox owe them for money they lost on their bets.
