Ego Nepotism

Individuals who favor and position their ego to solely benefit their selves at the detriment of another, whether politically, in business, with personal relationships, etc. Opposed to narcissism that seeks gratification from vanity or egotistic admiration of one's idealized self image and attributes.

This relationship was a terrible one sided deal that left me hurt, which displays their ego nepotism.

Cult of Ego

Mainly sports but can be attributed to other areas such as Finance and Arts. It is ego based wherein one thinks he is a big fish to society but the reality is he or she is only big to the group that he represents such as a star in the nba nfl mlb etc.,

Johnny thinks we care about how great of a swimmer he is but the only people who think he is great is the cult of ego which is other swimmers. The rest of us don't give a shit.
