Triangulation = a 3 or more way format during sex. Many powerful people like to engage in triangulation as a way of having sex - they like to have multiple sex partners participating with him - or her - at the same time. This is often referred to as a 3 way. Ego, status and power are often the reasons for engaging in this kind of sexual activity. The feeling of authority, power & control is paramount.
