throwback rock

A genre of music, characterized by a sound that is similar to classic rock, arena rock, glam rock, etc., but recorded by artists not active in that genre's age of popularity. Often includes a large empahsis on guitars and keyboards. Artists in this genre include, but are not limited to: Dragonforce, Velvet Revolver, Bang Camaro, Endeverafter, Coheed And Cambria, etc.

I love throwback rock as much as the old stuff.
