Get the the music industry mug.Synonym for Adele Adkins, Singer-Songwriter of songs such as Hello, Rolling In The Deep, Someone Like You. Adele’s studio album, 21, remains the best selling album of the 21st century despite being released 11 years after the beginning. 21 is also the second best selling female album selling 52 million, only behind Whitney Houstons The Bodygaurd. Adele currently remains as the only female artist with a number 1 single released in the 2020’s decade to remain in the top spot for more than 9 weeks. Taylor Swift is notably brought up as the music industry and here’s why I believe Adele is! #1: Adele’s 21 is the best selling album of the century
#2: Adele’s 30 is the best pure selling female album of the 20’s decade so far.
#3: Adele’s 25 remains the largest first week sales of any album this century.
#4: Adele’s 19 has outsold many other artists debuts such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Beyonce and many more.
#5: Despite only having recorded and released around 60 songs, Adele currently has 5 Billboard number 1’s.

Get the the music industry mug.A quote made famous for its use in season 1 of Supernatural. Implies that the driver of a vehicle chooses what music they and the passengers will listen to while whoever is riding shotgun must stay quiet.
Sam: You gotta update your music collection. Black Sabbath? Motorhead? Metallica? It's the greatest hits of mullet rock.
Dean: Well, house rules Sammy. Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole

Get the Taylor swift is the music industry mug.Term used to describe any day in which a musician of critical acclaim passes on. The term generally refers to the day Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper passed on when their plane crashed, but has in recent times been used to describe the passing of other legendary musicians such as Elvis Presley, John Lennon and most recently, Michael Jackson. The term originated from Don Mclean's song 'American Pie', and the event itself is a very emotional time for the music industry, and of course the many dedicated fans of the icon themselves... but it is important to remember that although they are physically gone, the musical contribution they have made to our lives and the music scene in general shall remain with us always...
The day the music died:
Buddy Holly
The Big Bopper
Ritchie Valens
Elvis Presley
John Lennon
Michael Jackson
R.I.P :(
Please note that my opinion is not above other people: you may have your own musical icons that deserve to be up here, which is perfectly fine- but this only refers to the most famous and recognisable musicians where a day the music died has been made upon their passing.
