There is a plenty suburbs and boroughs in post-soviet countries that are called 'Sputnik' in the name of the first artificial Earth satellite. There are many drunken and funny milfs walking here and they looks like weird due to their overmakeupping. So if someone is overdozened with cosmetiques and make up and drunken or looks like drunken and not young , so she/he could be called like Sputnik Milf

A sputnik is a guy who orbits around a woman, pretending to be her friend, with the ulterior and covert motive of becoming her lover.

Sputnik is a reference to the first artificial Earth satellite. Similar to the satellite that orbits Earth, the guy orbits the female friend, hoping for more. Therefore, he is an orbital.

Max, don't be such a sputnik! You do her homework daily but haven't even asked her out yet.

Sigue Sigue Sputnik

Sigue Sigue Sputnik are a New Wave band from the 1980s (formed in 1982), they are very unique as they often used a lot of obscure samples and promoted their songs and albums in a very unique manner: for example, they promoted their 1986 album "Flaunt It" on a pirate TV Station called Network 21.

On their album "Flaunt It" they put in original advertisements in between songs on the record.
They are probably my favourite band!!
