scenester

Generally adolescents aged 15-20 who are involved in the "scenes" surrounding emo and indie (occasionaly other types of music as well, including punk with it's mohawked fashion punks) for whom the scene is more important than the music itself. They place greater importance upon the style of dress, knowledge of "cool" bands and being a part of the scene than the music that is the centre of the scene. They are the death of many scenes and are to be shunned.

1. A person who refuses to have sexual intereaction outside of their scene
2. A person (usually a teenage boy) who claims to be gay/bisexual to be more in to the scene, but when it comes to doing anything other than making out, they refuse

Scenie

A scene groupie.

Millions of girls who follow the scenes in their school, town, etc. They are the ones who go on youtube make comments on videos of emo/scene pictures like "OMG HES SO HAWT."

The bad thing is, you rarely get to see a scene boy's face, which means that he isn't attractive, but his hair is. Ultimately, if a scene boy was to cut his hair off, the scenie would become unattached immediately from the scene individual. This proves how heartless the groupie can be.

These scenies are also the reason why scene boys take pictures of themselves. The scenies compliment and pamper the scene to the point where they become conceded, and think they're the hottest, giving them the right to take pictures of themselves.

SCENIE: OMG YOU'RE SO HOT.

SCENE KID: *exposes face*

SCENIE: Oh, nvm.

SCENE KID: *Puts hair in front of face again*

SCENIE: OMG YOU'RE SO HOT.

Scenester

a chaotic mixture between a scene kid and a hipster. This is typically shown with the stereotypical scene hair cuts (short to medium length and brightly colored for females, and medium to long and typically black for males) and hipster styled clothing. This is usually leggings, large shirts, and slip on shoes. A scenester will believe that they were original in their style and did this far before any one else and, and before "scene" and "hipster" became mainstream.

Scenie Weanie

A noun commonly used to describe someone who tryhards to be a "scene kid" or simply is easily described as scene by what they are wearing or how they generally look. Their hair will often look like they took a gallon of kool-aid and poured it over their head while piling on the hairspray.

"Did you notice how much that bitch changed over summer?"
"Yeah, she looks like a little scenie weanie now..."

Scenes on toast

'Scenes on toast' can be used in a variety of contexts especially when seeing something that is impressive, interesting and/or appealing to a 18-year old virgin. The history is derived from 'beans on toast' as well as 'absolute scenes'.

-likes V necks
-shops at american apparel and thrift stores
-wide vocabulary
-skinny jeans
-thick glasses
-artsy
-long bangs that are side swept
-try to be original
-ALOT like NEVERSHOUTNEVER/Chris Drew

Scene Kid;
-teased hair in bright colours
-likes to be CRAZY!
-says things like "niggah" "thnxkaibai" and "Rawr!"
-likes kiddy things like hello kitty,dinosaurs robots
-Dark makeup and false lashes
-bright and fun

Indie Sceneter;
(can be any mix but here's an example)
-artsy
-crazy
-wears v-necks
-likes screamo but NOT indie music
-loves hello kitty
-HATES teasing there hair.
you may find indie scenesters that love some scene things and hate others and that love some indie things and hate others...it depends
