It is when someone who is pseudo "woke", likes to start arguments in comments with copying and pasting most used hotep phrases and history lesson in long paragraphs as if they wrote it themselves.

Another (more positive) way of saying 'no' or 'nope'. Usually used in answer to a yes/no question.

It's the opposite of duplicate. Instead of something getting done twice it doesn't get done at all.

You asked us both to do something, and we didn't want to duplicate work, so neither one of us did it.

Oh great, so instead of duplicate work we got nope-licate work.

Doing it for the notes

When someone acts completely different to how they actually are to ‘impress’ people online. Their posts are like blanket statements that loads of people can relate to, or show a particular trait or angle of sympathy that people are fond of, for the sole purpose of getting notes. Hence, doing it for the notes.

“He really has a tough life…this kid has 6 types of cancer, no parents, AND he does charity work for animals. I bet he’s a really cool guy!”

“He’s a dickhead really. He's just doing it for the notes.”
