A phrase meaning what the fuck, used by Canadian nerds on forums where the word 'fuck' is prohibited. The missing space is caused by Canadians and their illogical desire to spell things phonetically rather than have them make coherent sense.

Example: I have so much Engineering homework tonight. Whatthe flux has my MECH 101 teacher got stuck up his ass?

sleep flux

The point in time when you'd usually be sleeping, but the computer moniter is keeping you awake. Usually you are really tired, but you are too lazy to turn off the computer; maybe you're myspacing, maybe you're gaming, or maybe you're just chatting. The boredom is so great, that you think the prospect of sleeping is too boring to try. You'd rather keep listening to music on iTunes late into the morning.

Guy A "Oh dude, i got like no sleep last night."

D-Bag Friend "Why dude, what the fuck is wrong with you, are you on crack or something?"

Aeon Flux

A post-apocaliptic, non-linear science-fiction anime created by Peter Chung that explores the relationship between sociopathic philantropists of two seperate governments: one a female terrorist, Aeon Flux, and another a scientist and dictator, Trevor Goodchild.

The show debuted in 1991 as part of Mtv's Liquid Television, the last episode being made in 1995.

Aeon Flux: "Fine to play with my feelings, but you are involving innocent people, Trevor! What are you doing to that poor girl!"
Trevor: "Jealous?"

Using lots of technical sounding jargon to make something sound more important or complicated than it really is. When in reality it makes no sense what so ever. But, IT SOUNS COOL!

Flux

Flux is the situation when you're in between a relationship and friends with benefits and don't know what is going to happen in the future. It can transform into more or totally fade away.
You can also have a flux when you're sure you don't want to have a relationship, but just sex is not enough. It is not as binding as a relationship and you can be friends even after the flux falls apart.

Example 1:
"Is a flux really what you want?"
"Yeah, I wanna find out whether I really want a relationship or I just wanna have fun with him."
Example 2:
"I really like him/her but I don't want a relationship right now..."
"Dude, just start a flux?!"
