A true born and raised native of florida,not really thought of as a real southerner by our other southern counter parts,but if you live in florida and not belive the hype you will see true floridians are southern as hell,and do take pride in it,but real floridians dont call there selves that only old a** snowbirds that live here call there selves floridians "They wish" but thanks to lame a** northerners moving down here floridians are loseing there native culture and southern accents,but there are also true southerners in the southern part of florida to. believe dot!!!

tourist: were are you from?
floridan: miami shawty!
tourist: oh im a floridian to i've lived here two years.
Floridian: naw baby, you live here! but you damn sure aint from here!

Adj. Having the characteristics of Florida i.e. full of warmth, splendor, and ostentatious oppulence with a touch of violent danger.

All we need is some Stingrays in the pool and some naked foosball to make this party truly Florididian!

By "Stingrays" do you mean the deadly poisonous aquatic animals or the 1960's Chevrolet corvettes?

Floridian Autumn

That Central Florida time of year where it is technically autumn (October - December) but it doesn't feel like it.
Temperatures usually range from the 70s to the 90s, with slight winds. Only the low (70) degree weather and occasional chills distinguish Floridian Autumn from Floridian Summer.

That Floridian Autumn was very mild.

floridiot

Annoying people from Florida (most of the state's population) which insist on traveling to other places like the mountains or cooler places in order to get away from the heat/humidity of their home state, and quite obviously have every intention of annoying the locals wherever they go. Sometimes Floridiots move to other places, but eventually they leave thankfully. Floridiots can't drive worth a shit but most places reluctantly put up with them during summer months. Floridiots are generally not allowed to leave their home state outside of June-August, and if they insist on visiting other places they should quickly spend their money and leave. Vehicles with Florida license plates should also be avoided on the road.

"What a surprise, the speed limit is 55 but that Floridiot went around a mild curve going 20MPH."

What the state known as "Florida" should be called. If you live there, you are a Floridian, hence your state should be Floridia.
