Fauxmless

The condition of being in your late teens to early 20s, wherein one couch surfs, crashes on floors, or squats in an attempt to seem homeless, thereby gaining scene points. In reality, said fauxmless person could return to his or hers parents' house at any given time.

You: Yeah, I'm letting Kiley crash on my couch this weekend...she's going through a fauxmless phase. Best to just get it out of her system.

A fake Amish person. A person who pretends to be Amish, or is going through "rumspringa", the Amish rite of deciding whether to remain in the community.

"Look at that chick over there. She's Fauxmish. She's on rumspringa right now, and doing drugs and banging guys like there's no tomorrow."

People who you grew up or with or know that you called aunt or uncle or cousin or some other family relation name when they're are not a blood or lawfully related person.

Well I mean, she's not my "real" cousin, we're not related in any way by blood or marriage. You know, she's fauxmily, so it's not weird that we made out.
