1 adj. One who watches you play any video game, and tells you what to do while playing. When you lose they often blame it on you and call you a noob or mock you.

Travis Bickle

Derives from the movie Taxi Driver, in which Robert De Niro plays psychotic cabbie Travis Bickle. A term used to describe a disillusioned person on the fringes of society about to have a violent, nervous breakdown. Also used to describe an anti-hero of a story.

That guy looks like his going to do a Travis Bickle. Or The main character is like a Travis Bickle.

backlog

When used referencing video games, a backlog is used to describe the pile of unplayed and/or unfinished games that a person owns.

It is another term for "stack of shame."

Due to my never ending love for Skyrim, many of the games in my backlog remain untouched.

backseatsman

1. Queer old gentlemen from the 1950s who sit in your backseat for a living. They will certainly die if they are separated from the backseat. If you work for The Car Service and a backseatsman appears, you can never pick up anyone else again (unless he is asleep or has Downs Syndrome). They are also lacking severely in yo-yo skills.

A person who makes a bold statement, then, upon reflection decides that they can't stand behind their reactive decision and does a flip-flop. The true backpedaler will carefully choose an alternate opinion designed to mask their original panic.

1. We have to re-evaluate our stance! This new development is going to kill us!

2. I *meant* that this new development may be strategically significant and we should evaluate the opportunities. :)

Janice: That's all a misunderstanding....
Jessica: Don't start backpedaling now that you've been caught!

Janice started backpedaling her story when Jessica threatened to beat her ass!
