Attachment mom

A mother (biological, adoptive, foster, any legal maternal figure) who is overly attached to their child, or child figure. Generally, this translates to overprotective.

Dude, that guy has an attachment mom. She makes every single decision for him.

reactive attachment disorder

What can happen when you basically neglect you child's social/emotional needs. They develop this mental illness and become extremely insecure, immature and problematic, and get a really low self-esteem. If not treated, they can self-harm and become manchildren with an inferiority complex and constantly tantrum like a severely autistic child, and the disorder becomes very hard or just impossible to cure.

I regret neglecting my daughter. She developed this "reactive attachment disorder" and she had to be put in foster care because she went crazy.

When playing a roleplaying game, this unfortunate malady occurs when a player becomes so attached to their character, that they break the verisimilitude of the game by creating copies of their favored character.
This affliction can present itself in many ways, such as giving other characters the same name with slight variations or creating characters that have the same personality or mannerisms.
