a term used as an excuse to do whatever you want because on December 21, 2012 the world is supposed to come to an abrupt end

Jeremy: I wish i could go to the lake tomorrow but i have to work.
Sarah: Who gives a shit! the world is going to end!!

Tammi: I wish i could go on vacation but i just can't afford it.
Sarah: Just spend the money... the world is going to end
