Trailer Travesty

When a movie trailer depicts enough scenes to leave one feeling as if though they have effectively seen the movie.

The thought of actually going to see the movie is greatly diminished after viewing the trailer; The feeling of wanting more or anticipation is lost.

Opposite of trailer fraud

- "Did you see that trailer about "that new movie"
- "Ya... A bit of a let down..."
- "What do ya mean?! Doesn't it look totally far out radtacular!"
- "Well, what more can they show, it was a Trailer Travesty"

Bitch-of-all-trades

When a person assumes they rank higher on all personal, professional, and social levels of "perfection" that no matter what you have said, done, or experienced, they will always tell you how they have said, done, or experienced it better or more significantly than you have. A Bitch-of-all-trades can easily be identified with responses that begin with "Well, no..." followed by their statement of superiority.

"I was telling Sharon how difficult giving birth to my child was and how I was in labor for 53 hours. But, being the bitch-of-all-trades that she is, she had to one up me by saying "Well, no...I was in labor for 54 hours and my child had to go to the intensive care unit at UCLA."

Superstar Tradesman

Made popular through the song "Superstar Tradesman" by the Scottish band The View, a Superstar Tradesman is one of the less than bright or unruly kids who left school at 16 to become an electrician/plumber/mechanic. Now earning more money than people of equal I.Q who left school and work in call centres, he gets drunk and coked out his head every Friday and Saturday night at his local, ALWAYS stands at the bar,talks loudly and wears those brown boots that you can't seem to buy in shops. Liable to kick off at any point.
