Staunch

A term used by rock climbers in the Cincinnati area. A catch all word that means everything, but nothing at the same time. Usually used as a word of affirmation towards inanimate objects, or as a way of agreeing with someone.

Person 1 "hey have you climbed this route yet?"
Person 2 "yeah dude it's so staunch"

- taking large steps

An alcoholic drink which consists of a hot pint glass fresh out of the dishwasher (or run under the water of a sink at its hottest setting) filled to the brim with rack/well gin, and consumed as a shot.
