perfectly potty

(Chiefly British English)
1. Crazy, Utterly ridiculous, philosophically disjointed
-or depending on vocal inflection:
2. Delightfully silly
"(To start a new religion) you have to be a person of the type who gets (satisfaction) making people believe something they would have regarded as perfectly potty before meeting you."

Here's a literary example:
"Speaking of ‘lectricity…have this clock and it’s run slow for two years and all of a sudden, whacko, it runs on time. Now I wouldn’t a thought a thing, but Rigby said same thing happened to him. It’s as if they upped the voltage or something.

Darling, you’re perfectly potty."

perfectly good airplane

A term used in "Point Break" that has seeped into everyday blog and news use to reassure everyone that, indeed, the plane in question is perfectly good, as opposed to regularly good, or better-jump-it's-gonna-to-blow-up-in-10-seconds good. The people of the Internet greatly treasure this seemingly pointless phrase.

Known in Britain as "Perfectly Serviceable Aeroplane"
Yesterday he jumped out of a perfectly good airplane. But then the craft blew up inexplicably, and made doubt my use of the phrase.
