Pool-child Syndrome

Found in teenagers and adults who grew up with a swimming pool. Symptoms include always insisting on activities taking place at their home and rarely participating in activites taking place at someone elses home. (ex. movie nights, dinners, etc.) These people may be, at times, condescending, persuasive, and defensive when they have to venture outside of their own home.

These teenagers and adults are used to not leaving their own comfort zone because as a kid they did not have too. Friends and other kids always went to their house to swim because they had a pool. Now these people are jerks.

Local Swimming Pool Bitching

When someone bitches, complains or refuses to use their local swimming pool for whatever reason. Often an excuse for lack of swimming skill or ability. Local swimming pool bitching is the lowest of the low and should not be tolerated in modern society.

Toby: why don't you swim at your local pool?

Elliot: because I have no common sense and I drive 15miles to an Identicle cuboid full of water.

a cheese rush strategy that kills or maims many noob players in Starcraft 2 because they don't expect to need to defend their base so early in the game. The zerg player does not make any workers, just keeping the 6 that he starts with. Then they make a spawning pool which is all that is required to make zergling attack units. They sacrifice all their early economy to surprise their enemy with zerglings. It is the most well-known of rushes, even moreso than the worker rush.

Pool Rage

Summer patrons at the pool who become enraged when lifeguards enforce pools rules.

After telling a patron not to dive in 4ft of water. The patron comes out of water or walks aggressively towards lifeguards, full of pool rage. Stfu I'm the guard you moronic pool rager.
