Used humorously, to go native means to take on some (or all) of the culture traits of the people around you, often said of people who go to foreign countries or far away cities. These traits may include dress, language, accent, etiquette, religion, etc.

An underground Los Angeles rap group made of two emcees and a dj. Anti-capitalist and pro-brown (these guys are Filipinos, did I mention that?) these guys rap for social justice here and overseas. Their music is a huge refreshment for a genre that has been overproduced, overworked, and starting to lose its flavor.
