Militant Hippi is all about the peace and love, but don't push, they will push back. The idea of 'Militant Hippi' comes from a former soldier trained as a paratrooper who left his homeland and became an Expat in Taiwan. Soon after, his talents as a musician and performer blossomed and the band and its politics were born. One may be a Peace Loving, bead wearing, Pacifist that calls him/herself a Hippie but then there is the Hippi who won't be bullied by fascists that run the government. This is the Militant Hippi. Often misunderstood, you will find that an Atheist is merely someone who does not believe in the existence of a deity or deities. The exact opposite of a theist.
Atheists can not be defined by any other terms. They do not follow any belief system or dogma. However, as in most cases in humans, people harboring similar ideas will share certain characteristics. Atheists typically abandon all things supernatural and rely on reason, rationality, evidence, and science as opposed to blind faith.
Militant Atheism is very much an oxymoron. For it is not used to define Atheists who take up arms to fight or kill believers in theism, but is actually used to define people who actively speak up about their ideas. In any other realm of discourse, it would be said that these people have a very strong opinion. But because it is not socially acceptable to criticize religion or religious beliefs, theists automatically turn on the defensive. At this point they find the need to label or demonize the opposition.

Whereas a fundamentalist or member of militant Islam would strike against the opposition with violence and tyranny, a "militant atheist" will fight the opposition with words and ideas.

Militant atheism is a form of atheism that is hostile towards religions, religious authority, and religious people. A person of this belief is (almost always) a positive atheist. This form of atheism can be seen in the USSR, China, and other communist countries. It can also be seen with reddit atheists who push their disbelief onto others who don't ask for it.
Militant atheism and militant theism are the same thing, just with whose trying to indoctrinate who with what type of belief.

Ulsters Young Militants are the youth wing of the UDA.
Formed during The Troubles in 1974 at the peak of the violence.
Theyre motto is Terrae Filius", Latin for "Son of the Land".
At present the UYM are being populated by youths from 15 to 18 years of age. Most of these Militants will be using intimidating violence. In some Squads theyre recruits must be sworn, and cannot leave.
Many famous Loyalists are believed to have been in the UYM before entering the UDA, Such as Johnny Adair.
