Committed Atheist

A committed atheist is an atheist who firmly believes that God's existence is impossible, and does not exist. This is also known as positive atheism, which is the explicit rejection of the belief in god and religions.

Committed atheists are most likely to be Anarchists, Marxists (dialectical materialism), Nihilists, and Anti-Theists.

He was a lifelong committed atheist, and constantly criticized religion.

Positive Atheist

Positive Atheism is a form of atheism that asserts no gods exist. A positive atheist would be 100% certain that god is not real. This view is contrasted with negative atheism, otherwise known as agnostic atheism, which is the disbelief in god without affirming whether or not god exists or not. Positive atheists also goes by strong atheist, hard atheist, and gnostic atheist. Some other unofficial terms include: committed atheist, hardcore atheist, devout atheist, and staunch atheist.

Positive atheists are most likely to be: Marxists (dialectical materialism), Anarchists, Nihilists, Atheistic Existentialists, and Anti-Theists.

I'm a positive atheist, I do not believe in any transcendental will or god at all since neither exist in a literal sense.

Atheistic existentialism, existential atheism, or atheist existentialism, is a type of existentialism that explicitly excludes any transcendental, metaphysical, or religious beliefs from philosophical existentialist thought. A person of this belief is most likely going to be a positive atheist. This type of existentialism overlaps with existential nihilism.
