meet me in the bathroom

Phrase used by inmates mostly in juvenile type facilities, such as detentions and other types of kid prisons. One inmate says this to another when he/she wants to fight the person they are saying it to. The bathroom is a place where staff cannot see the fight take place, so no one gets in trouble.

Outside of lockup, many people still use this phrase as a joke, upon disagreement.

What are you talking about? That band rocks! Meet me in the bathroom !

meetmarket

A time, typically between 9 and 9:45, where people attending CTY interact. It is sort of a social time. This time is immediately following study hall, allowing for people who were cooped up in a room reading and learning for the past two hours to go and hit on their peers with reckless abandon.

The word "meetmarket" has inspired criticism from the administration because of its sexual connotation. They have, time and time again, attempted to rename this time things like "quad craze" or "social time" but the people attending CTY have resisted this change.

"Dude, I'm so going to ask Shelly out during meetmarket."

During meetmarket, the unsuspecting Jebediah was double-homped by Goatie and Paca.

meetergreeter

Staff in a retail establishment or financial institution who meet customers at the door, answer questions, and guide them to other service representatives.

At the credit union, the meetergreeter shepherded me over to the investments officer to open my IRA.
