In this episode, the duel monster called Nightmare Penguin kidnaps Tea and forces her to duel him so that he can win her body and possess it. He says "penguins" a lot during the episode, and it is questionable as to whether or not he has a penguin fetish. The name Penguin Ex Machina comes from the word Deus Ex Machina, which is Latin for "God from the machine."
