A crappy show on MTV. After everybody there went to college or got a life, MTV producers decided to make more shows about rich kids living in an exclusive coastal city. For example:

1. The Hills: a show about Lauren's life working for Teen Vogue Magazine and her drama with Heidi.

2. Maui Fever: a cheap show that took place in Hawaii about rich kids who talk about each other. Luckily, the show never made it to season 2.

#. Newport Harbor: A place north of Laguna Beach, the show is full of fake blondes and some guy named Clay. In the end, they all leave for college.

Lauren and Heidi were friends in Laguna Beach, But in The Hills, they hate each other because of Heidi's BF.

Laguna Beach Moment

A moment where you get into deep conversation with someone (often times someone you haven't talked to in a while, like an old best friend, ex boyfriend/girlfriend, or maybe even a best friend who you need to talk to), and you talk about life, and what has been going on. Often times there are long silences and it feels like there should be a song playing in the background.

Also known as a Hills Moment.

An example of this is when someone meets up with an old friend they haven't talked to in a while (perhaps at a coffee joint or a restaurant, or even at their apartment) and they meet up and talk about things and maybe even talk about being friends again, that's a Laguna Beach moment.

"Yeah, we met up and it was totally a Laguna Beach moment."

Laguna Niguel

City in Southern Orange County, right on the water, always sunny. known to be full of rich white people who drive expensive cars, carry their little dogs in their purses on beach walks, and always have a starbucks cup in their hand. Everyone is super health conscious and loves working out, the average person is in yoga pants and running shoes with their hair and makeup done of course.

Did you see that woman running by with her dog in a stroller?
