I'm latina, from the Dominican Republic, and I will break the stereotypical latina in a few seconds.

I have no curves, I'm light, light skinned, no gluteus maximus, small breasts, very thin and short, and yes, I know how to spell grammar correctly.

Sorry guys, but please take your unwanted stereotypes somewhere else. Just like there are white girls that can dance, there are latina girls with no ass. Yup, yup. Since most people seem to not understand what Latina is, I will say this as an exasperated woman of Latin heritage myself.

"Latina" is a woman who is of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, South American or Caribbean descent. No, it is not exclusively used for women that come from Latin America.

No, we don't all sing Despacito and twerk 90% of the time. I am Latina and I hate the song, we aren't all trashy, we aren't you cleaning ladies, and we aren't the white persons costume. Stop butchering beautiful Latin languages, and stop telling some of us that we don't "look" Latina enough. We aren't all brown-skinned, we aren't all black-haired, and we don't only come from the Caribbean.

I have curly dark hair, I am olive-skinned and tan, and I am Italian. Italian and Portuguese women are also Latinas, deal with it.

Me: Latin originated in Italy...and spread through Spain and Portugal. "Latino" and "Latina" are just Spanish words for Latin. Besides, Italy colonized some of South America as well, and aren't they Latina/Latino?

Contrary to popular belief, not all latinas:
a) Can't spell.
b) Dress like whores.
c) Fail at school, and life in general.

It's a shame that all of the whores in the U.S.A are making all of the other latinas look bad. Granted, almost all of us are very beautiful, but there are also ugly latinas, just as there ugly whites, blacks, asians, etc. Not all latinas have an awesome body, and not all of them can dance very well. I don't refer to myself as latina, simply because of the gross stereotype that goes along with it.
