Repetitively trying to communicate with your ex whilst getting little to no response. Also known as insanity, clingy or hopeless.

Friend: Do you still speak to Eve?
Me: No. She is WAY too desperate.

Common in more clingy teenagers. A boy or girl who just wants a girlfriend/boyfriend so badly that they will date the first remotely attractive person who comes along.
A lot of people don't really look specifically for good personalities or morals, but whether or not it would be fun to make out with them.

When a girl goes to a party and asks "Will anyone make out with me?!" and everyone says no but she keeps persisting, she is desperate.

a play on the actual disorder ADD; used to describe someone who is desperate for attention to a point that it could probably be diagnosed by a doctor.

X: Did you hear that Alison is pregnant?
Y: I wouldn't believe it; she's got attention desperate disorder (ADD).
