delaneyism

A particular way of speaking where words are often replaced with other words that are close to the original but make little sense to most people who haven't been around someone who speaks like that enough to finally understand. Replacement words are often modified versions of actual words or sarcastic replacements that mock the usual commonly known way of expressing the sentiment. Delaneyism may also invoove metaphors that are kinda just out there and a touch overboard.

Well there's a delaneyism if I ever heard one. I get what you're trying to say but ugh the way you're saying that is definitely a delaneyism.

Delaney is a crazy person but she will always be loved. She has many friends and is never very serious. Delaney is beautiful even though she doesn't believe it.
